Visas for Canada

Each type of visa is different, and it's able to grant one you need to know well so that you need it, what the purpose of the visit will be, how long you will stay, if you will be in company or on a solo trip, your age, your nationality , your financial solvency, including your training and work experience, as well as if you know how to speak English.

There are 3 types of visas:

  1. Tourist visa or visit

  2. Study visa

  3. Work visa, either temporary or permanent

Tourism visa

This visa depends on your nationality

eTA (electronic Travel Authorization)

You can request it from Chile, Mexico and Spain, and it costs 7 Canadian dollars.

Visitor Visa

This visa is for applicants from Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica. For people in Colombia, they are asked to send biometric tests as a security measure, at a cost of $ 100 Canadian dollars.

Open work permit

This International Mobility Program is an open-work permit that allows a person to work for any employer for a specific period of time. An open restricted permit may restrict occupation or location, but not the employer.

Employer-specific work permits

For this type of permission, you need specific things, such as knowing employer's employer data. For this permit or visa, the employer is required to use the Employer Portal to send the job offer directly to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship of Canada (IRCC) before the alien applies for a work permit. Officials must not issue a work permit if the job offer has not been received by IRCC, therefore, it must be a procedure directly in IRCC to be valid.

Student permit

For this visa or permit it is necessary that "BE A STUDENT" and you stay in Canada for more than 6 months, and you need to work at the same time. In the case of those who go to Canada to study English, this permission does not apply.

Requirements:

• You must be enrolled in a course of an official and accredited institution (you must check which are accredited)

• Justify that you have enough money to cover the cost of the plane ticket, course and life in Canada, or submit a letter written by whoever is responsible for you financially (about CAD 833 per month).

• Letter with confirmation of registration issued by the school in Canada

• 3 recent passport-type photos.

• Payment of the Visa fee (CAD 150).

Post Graduation Work Permit Canada

If you have studied at a university in Canada, and plan to stay there for a while, you need this permission, because it grants you a period of time that will depend on the time you have completed your studies.

• They will grant it to you as long as you have studied more than 8 months. If you studied in a period of 8 months to 2 years, that will be the time that you will be given permission. If you studied more than two years, this visa can be 3 years long, but it will always depend on the time you have spent studying.

Working Holiday Visa Canada

This type of visa can only be taken once in a lifetime.

It provides temporary work permits to young people from more than 30 countries, so they can live legally and get a job in Canada. Permits are valid for 12 or 24 months, depending on your country of citizenship

At the end of each need there is a special type of permit or visa, which allows us the possibility of traveling and enjoying or taking advantage of what Canada offers.
