We are almost finishing the month of October, and we bring you some news on the events that will be happening in various areas of the U.S./Canada border in different cities. With a couple of days away from Halloween you’ll be sure to find some frightening fun in your area.

Chicago, Illinois

Fall Fest/ Spooky Zoo 2019 Hosted annually by Lincoln Park Zoo’s Auxiliary Board, Spooky Zoo offers a free and safe alternative to trick-or-treating in Chicago. This event attracts more than 25,000 children and families to the zoo each year—the majority of whom are from underserved communities—making it one of Chicago’s largest public-service initiatives.

Stanstead, Vermont

Candy Carnival Join others on this fun night of games and food. We will have a giant box maze indoors along with games outside, candy, hotdogs and popcorn. Plan to make a night out of it. Bring the entire family out.

Fall Concert The Friends & Drifters will be playing a diverse mix of country, oldies, and familiar tunes with new offerings at every performance. Guitars, drums, fiddles and voices all led by Janet Lussier on the keyboard serve up an eclectic mix of toe tapping music. This diverse group of local musicians has been playing together for over 10 years and have become a staple here at the Goodrich Memorial Library.

Toronto, Ontario

Night of Dread 2019 Clay & Paper Theatre presents the 20th annual NIGHT OF DREAD, an evening of fearful pageantry, revels and mockery on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26TH in DUFFERIN GROVE PARK. At this much loved, family-friendly, community event, Torontonians are invited to call on, mock and banish their private and collective fears through parade and pageantry, music and masquerade, dance and a devilishly good party.
