The Customs and Border Patrol of the United States has received a strong negative reaction after posting a tweet on Christmas Eve, where Santa is seen with a visa or green card, which states that he was already been "authorized to enter" the country. Shortly after the publication was made, Twitter users flooded the responses and photos of migrant children detained in immigration centers.

The image of Santa was published with the caption of: "Santa, his reindeer and all the gifts have been authorized by the CBP to enter the United States!", Thus read the tweet with the photo that was published by the US government.

The reaction of Internet users was so rapid that the rain of comments towards the publication was not expected. Many criticizing the current situation of several migrant families during these hard times, and the bad taste of the photo specifically the caption it came with.

In the publication you can see the responses of activist groups and users for the bad taste of the image. One of the responses to the publication said, "I hope you brought gifts for these children," with a photo of children curled up under the blankets on the floor of an apparent detention center.

Another by the writer Rob Rousseau said "if he didn't have the right credentials, would you arrest him or would you arrest Santa"?

Other users responded with cartoons, memes and modified nativity scenes, including the California church that showed Jesus, Mary, and Joseph separated by cages, which strongly criticize both the US Customs. UU. As to Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs.

In November, it was reported that the United States had detained more than 69,000 migrant children during the past year, with several reports of allegedly deceased children without access to medical care.
