The application Uber is looking to come to the city of Vancouver, but a shortage on drivers might make it hard for the app to provide service outside the Metro Vancouver area. But this has become a problem for a neighborhood where residents were being plagued by ongoing parties on a property used by the Airbnb website. 3 children detained at O’ Hare Airport by immigration agents

Three children who are American citizens were held by immigration agents for several hours at O'Hare International Airport on Thursday after arriving from Mexico with a relative, who reportedly mentioned because the adult they were traveling with was "considered inadmissible" to Enter the United States with the three children under 9, 10 and 13 years. Mention is made that U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers detained minors as a way of hooking in order to detain their parents who are said to be not American citizens and reside in the country illegally. The announcement was made on Thursday by the Department of Homeland Security, any legal citizen from Canada can now expect at the time of crossing the northern border to have their information collected, this will include things like complete name, date of birth and gender. Mayor of Chicago denies ICE access to CPD files

With the announcement that raid on illegal immigrants would start this past Sunday, Chicago mayor announced that the Chicago Police Department would not be allowing access to ICE agents, the police’s department’s databases. Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that the city of Chicago will protect all of its families. She will halt any police involvement with Immigration and Custom Services, and are not allowed to lend any assistance or cooperate with them in the raids.
