The victim this time is a young woman by the name Rochelle Trepanier, who was planning a visit to her boyfriend who lives in California. Ms. Trepanier mentions that she has been traveling like this for the past two years to visit her boyfriend during the fall when her work is less demanding. 24 year old man dies running at Montreal Half-Marathon

A 24-year-old man has died after being rushed to hospital in the middle of a Montreal half-marathon. On Sunday at the Montreal half-marathon a young 24-year-old man passed away. He was rushed to the hospital but would later be pronounced dead. As of right now the causes for his death are still not known, he collapsed while participating in the half-marathon, Montreal based cardiologist says that marathon deaths are rare. The coroner’s office confirmed Monday that the young man who passed away of name Patrick Neely, died while participating in the Oasis de Montreal half- marathon, with a distance of 21.1-kilometre run. Scammer pass themselves off as Charlottetown Police officer and Canada Border Service agent

One person has reported a fraudulent call that they received where scammers claimed to Agents from the Canada Border Service Agents and then the Charlottetown police officers. The victim of the call, received the calls from the scammers who claimed to be Canada Border Service agents from the number 1-888-502-9060, where the male caller mentioned that he was an agent with the CBSA. The caller informed the victim that he was the primary suspect in a very major case and criminal investigation and that the Charlottetown police office would also be contacting him and was told that there was an arrest warrant in his name. Metro Vancouver could see an increase on gas prices

The predicted increase in gas prices was not what many were expecting. Energy analyst calculated that the price on regular liter of gas would increase up to $0.07 and up to $0.11 for diesel, all this is said to go up by Wednesday of this week. It had been mentioned before that the predictions for the spike for gas prices would only be around two to five cents on the liter. But estimates were not as expected. Authorities indict El Paso shooter for capital murder

On August 3, the United States suffered an episode of violence when news hit of an active shooter that was opening fire among various citizens in the city of El Paso, Tx., at a Walmart in the region. In this attack that is being called an act of domestic terrorism, the culprit was a 21-year-old Caucasian man named Patrick Crusius. With the simple motive of killing Mexicans, which he informed the authorities when he surrendered. Arrests over Labor Day weekend near Oroville by Border Patrol for illegal entry

Over Labor Day weekend Border Patrol agents arrested two people in Oroville near the Canadian border and another one was stopped at the Spokane Intermodal Bus Station. Three people were arrested by Border Patrol agents mentioned in the Spokane area. The two persons arrested where to Mexican nationals that were found crossing near the remote areas of the U.S.- Canada border, agents approached them and through an investigation it was found that they did not have the correct documents. US Custom agents have been denying entry to Canadian Muslims crossing the border

From what we know right now, at least six Canadian Muslims have been denied entry at the Canada-U.S. border in the past two weeks, news reports mentioned on Friday. Two from what is known were eminent, one of the persons denied, a Toronto based man, who is chaplain to a regional police force. The other person is an Iraqi-Turkmen, who is a community leader and has relatives that are fighting Daesh in the Middle East.
